CENTRAL COAST ROLLER DERBY is a 501(c)  nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment of women of all ages. We are the first full contact and flat track roller derby team here on the Central Coast! CCRD was founded in January 2006, by two local women Heather Coss (Rotten Peaches) and Carey Jones (Senorita Cheeba). CCRD is a charter member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) which, is the only international governing body to regulate interstate and international play for flat track roller derby. Since CCRD's conception, our league has hosted numerous home bouts that have allowed us to donate over $50,000 and countless volunteer hours to help local San Luis Obispo County charities.

Currently CCRD is comprised of three teams that compete at different levels of commitment and skill. Our WFTDA travel team (The SK805) competes for national rankings at an A skill level and represent CCRD at large scale tournaments; while, the Micro Bruisers compete at local home bouts only and at a B skill level. Last but definatly not least, our co-ed team cleverly named Opposites Distract, provides both men and women in our area a place to play together on the flat track. Equally fun and challenging, CCRD can accommodate all levels of skaters and abilities.

If you would like more information on how to get involved with CCRD or if your charity needs help from Central Coast Roller Derby, please feel free to contact us at info@centralcoastrollerderby.com
